| Highlights Since I've lived in Tokyo, I am quite picky with my Japanese food. But I can honestly say Ichigo is serving the best tonkatsu in HK. Tonkatsu is a cutlet of pork, breaded and deep-fried until crisp and golden brown. You can choose the original version or add different stuffings... I personally have a weakness for the garlic and cheese option... Not so much into pork, Ichigo also served other freshly and skillfully fried dishes, like creamy crab croquette and shrimp... Each set comes with a miso soup, bol of rice, pickled cabbage and shredded cabbage. And that's when you definitely notice the restaurant is run by a Japanese family, the miso soup is made from scratch and the rice authentically Japanese (shorter grains, stickier texture), yes!
