| Highlights Yesssss! Today’s candy is for one of my fav’ Japanese restaurant of HK, Kyoto Joe. Several months ago they relocated from their old Lan Kwai Fong location to another nearby, and I very much like the Japanese esthetic of their new-kimono inspired-decoration. What’s not to like in Kyoto Joe? Perfect location, reasonable prices, great quality food, with the freshest ingredients and a perfect mix between authenticity and modernity. They serve all the traditional Japanese dishes we love, but also genially reinterpreted some classics to create some delicious original recipes… Lola’s secret: Do not miss their spicy toro tartar, the Kyoto salad (with scallops, tuna and salmon and a delicious dressing), and their silver cod… healthy and tasty… still hungry?… I admit a weakness for their soft shell crab, and don’t let me start on the Dynamite rolls… Bisou, bisou, Foxy Lola |
