Crystal glasses and a decanter of brandy are provided free along with Internet ready computers for guests' usage. With its wonderfully timeless quality, it is easy to imagine that Rachamankha has indeed existed for countless centuries. But in fact it is a completely new structure that has only opened in April 2004 and boasts all the 'mod-cons' which today's travellers can expect. There is free wireless internet throughout the hotel, including all guest rooms, which also have satellite TV and a DVD player with a library of titles for free viewing. Traditional Thai massage is available in the massage spa near the 20-metre teal-tiled swimming pool. And for the adventurous, the concierge service can recommend Chiang Mai's numerous and varied attractions including excellent restaurants, world-class golf, truly unique shopping and cultural experiences and jungle adventures. The only Relais & Châteaux member property in northern Thailand, the hotel is the only one of its class located in the picturesque walled and moat-ringed center of the ancient city.
