Segafredo is a modern yet cozy coffee shop inspired by the caffès found across Italy, where locals sit for hours on end people-watching, passing time with friends, sipping cups of espresso. Famous for serving an extensive array of top-notch coffees, freshly prepared by Baristas trained in Italy by Segafredo’s Grand Chief Barista, a less known fact is that this caffe also serves healthy, gourmet foods inspired by traditional Italian recipes.
Octopus and beef carpaccio, platters of mouth-watering Italian meats and cheeses, open faced ciabatta sandwiches topped with the fine ingredients, vast selections of pastas and risottos, and light but sumptuous desserts that are to die for, are among the many dishes served up night and day at Segafredo.
For HK$138 inclusive of service charge, you can enjoy the Italian caffè lifestyle, with a 3-course dinner comprising two appetizers, a choice of main course, and a freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea. Start off with a lovely bruschetta with tomato, olive-truffle, and artichoke paste atop warm bread, move on to baked escargots with parsley and garlic butter, before selecting a main course from a choice of pastas, risottos or pizzas.
