| WHY WE LIKE IT... The 8th Estate Winery 's concept is simple: source the best ingredients and make the best wine. They have done this by creating something no one else has in Asia : a fully functional urban winery. The concept is inspired by the known principal that wine does not travel well. By importing international wine making talent along with exceptional grapes, their formula will produce spectacular wine. Their master vintners travel the world to source and personally select the best grapes from each region. Once chosen, the grapes are harvested and frozen to preserve each grape at its highest potential. Flash freezing has been proven to preserve grapes at their peak of winemaking potential and create spectacular vintages. In a frozen state, the grapes are shipped to Hong Kong where they are allowed to thaw and then production begins as it would in any boutique winery in the world. The wine is left to age in French and American oak barrels. Each barrel is carefully monitored and specifically blended by our master vintner. Their facility is comprised of 2 barrel rooms, 2 production rooms, tasting bar and entertainment terrace. Their barrel room will be open for selected hours during the weekends for tastings and special events. Today, we are proposing you to enjoy this unique venue for a private wine tasting party for up to 15 people, perfect for corporate networking or a casual gathering of friends. Guests will have a chance to experience a unique varietals with 5 different tastings including wines from 4 different vintages, also cheese and cracker will be provided. Guests will also enjoy a tour of the production facility and an introduction from The 8th Estate Winery staff. Private Wine Tasting Events can be held at any time during the week with the exception of Sundays. The outdoor terrace can also be made available for your event; however this is only done so with weather permitting. The 8th Estate Winery is offering an exclusive and unique lifestyle experience and a great learning opportunity. |
