Otherwise you will sail on the very same yacht that won a round-the world-race, a 64 ft Volvo 60. V1 is the Ferrari of the sea, this baby not only won the Rolex round-the-world race but also the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race and held the Trans Atlantic and 24-hr speed record. Told you she is a champ!!! And her owner has kept her exactly the same as when she was racing, so you'll definitely experience the real thing. You will meet at Stanley Blake Wharf (Down the steps from Stanley Plaza). And then, expect 3 fantastic hours on the ocean without a roaring engine to spoil the atmosphere. If you are a fan of sailing, their highly experienced and friendly international crew will let you take control, or if you are like me (a beginner who likes to put her hand in everything) you can help them out a bit.
