| WHY WE LIKE IT... Improve your posture and flexibility, tone your abs and back muscles, and have fun in the process! Just the name, Desert Mermaids is already a promise of excitement in itself... Desert Mermaids is a cosy dance and yoga studio conveniently located in Sheung Wan. It's the perfect opportunity to get your friends together, share the fun while learning some new moves or explore your inner peace with some yoga classes... You can choose from chair dance, pilates, yoga, doga, jazz fusion, ballet basis or yin yoga (no belly dance!)... or why not trying them all?... Suzette, your teacher, is the woman behind this lovely dance studio. Born in Durban, in South Africa, she started dancing at the age of 5. She trained in ballet then modern dance before she found her passion in arabic dance, in which she is a certified instructor. She also studied Jazz, African and Salsa, which makes her dancing unique: a blend of tradition and innovation.
